On September 12, 2018, I’ll be hosting a new photography class workshop at the Miami library North Dade branch in Aventura.
If you’re an avid photographer, or you are just starting up, join us at the digital photography workshop where we will explore the digital photo processing and design.
What can you expect from this class ? We will mostly focus in Adobe Camera Raw and how to get the best results out of you RAW files. This class is open to everyone. It’s recommended to have some photo experience prior to the class.
You can bring your favorite photo on a SD card to develop and evaluate it together.
Further along the workshop, we will discuss composition, field of view, depth of field, perspective, color theory and other aspects that are fundamental for good photography.
We’ll blend technical information with design and art, while transforming photographs through digital post processing.
You don’t need any equipment to attend and the class is totally FREE .
If you have one, It’s a good idea to bring a laptop or a notebook to take notes while we do some photo work. We’ll continue with the workshops every two months so we can develop new skills and techniques during that time. I’m considering also doing photo walks around the Aventura, North Miami-Dade and Broward area. If you’re interested, leave me a comment with your information so we can increase the community of active photographers.
June 12th, at 6:00 PM at the North Dade Aventura library. 2930 Aventura Blvd, Miami, FL 33180-3119, United States.
If you like to travel for your photography, I’m also preparing for a Patagonia Photography tour in November. If you want to attend, click on the link for more information. If you’re considering attending, take a look at the Patagonia airport blog post I created with detailed information about how to get there. Organization towards a future trip is a key factor to make the experience great!
Hope to see you at the class.
