Last week I was very fortunate to visit the PhotoAlicante festival. The exhibition hall was located at the cultural center Las Cigarreras. Before my visit to the festival, I had the opportunity to give a talk to the communication students at the Miguel Hernandez University. We went over a few of my projects and discuss my artistic practice. The students were curious about the technical and conceptual aspect of For I Shall Already Have Forgotten You and Solace of You. Many of the topics of discussion focused in how to obtain meaningful access with people that might not be comfortable collaborating with a photographer, and let alone be photographed.
